Naval Sea Systems Command TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER (ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL) in Indian Head, Maryland

Summary You will serve as a TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER (ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL) in the ENERGETICS MANUFACTURING DEPARTMENT DEPUTY (MB), ENERGETICS MANUFACTURING DIVISION (M) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $153,354). The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14. Responsibilities You will use Project Management knowledge, processes and tools to lead and manage diverse project teams necessary to propose, plan, execute, and close-out multiple complex Smart Arsenal tasks or projects. You will compose and present project documentation (e.g. cost estimates/ proposals, project plans, schedules, spend plans, statements of work, etc.). You will manage and track project planning and execution information using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat software. You will manage and track project financial data using the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system including gathering financial information and building project structures You will communicate and resolve project status or issues with portfolio managers, resource managers, customers and suppliers. You will support a manufacturing organization. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating technical project operation requirements to develop, plan and execute project schedule, milestones and deliverables to improve efficiency and execution of program operations.
