Job Title: Material Handler (2nd Shift)

Location: Independence, OR

Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Material Handler to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring a steady flow of organic materials through our production process. You will work closely with the Heavy Equipment Operator and Foreman to maintain efficiency while keeping the workspace clean and safe.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure material flows smoothly through the shakers by breaking up blockages

  • Scrape and clean finishing screens to maintain product flow

  • Perform housekeeping duties, including sweeping, shoveling, and scraping to prevent material buildup

  • Inform maintenance personnel of any equipment issues

  • Assist with small bag line operations and pallet restacking as needed

  • Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Entry-level experience welcomed

  • Electrical troubleshooting, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repair experience (preferred, but not required)

Skills & Requirements:

  • Ability to follow safety protocols

  • Comfortable working in dusty, hot, cold, or rainy conditions

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders

  • Must be able to stand and move throughout the shift

Pay Details: $18.60 per hour
