Flynn Restaurant Group Systems Administrator II in INDEPENDENCE, Ohio

Position Description

Responsible for escalated incidents and support from the Jr. System Administrator. Assist with projects including, but not limited to, Servers, End User Devices, Azure Infrastructure and Hyper Visors. Act with security in mind when administering technologies and new services. Work with Operations and the Business to implement solutions for projects.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

System Administration

  • Provide support to System Administrator I position on escalated incidents

  • Assist with troubleshooting server and systems issues

  • Assist with monitoring physical and virtual devices

  • Assist with server related projects, upgrades, maintenance and documentation of systems

Education and/or Experience

  • Acceptable equivalent combination of education, experience and certification; Associates or Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, or equivalent

  • 2-4 years’ experience in administrating and managing enterprise server systems including cloud and/or virtual solutions.

  • Strong knowledge and experience with PC hardware (A+ Certification a plus) and software technology, including operating systems.

  • Experience with Server operating systems and services including Windows 2008/2012/2016, DNS, Active Directory, and Powershell

  • Experience with O365, Exchange Online, Azure and Intune

  • Basic understanding of networking protocols and processes
