Robert Half Software Engineer in Independence, Ohio

Description

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team based in Independence, Ohio. The focus of this role is to assist in the ongoing development, release, and post-launch support of a new enterprise system. This is a member management system used for a variety of member management functionality. The role is a permanent employment opportunity that involves the usage of various programming languages and technologies such as .NET 5, C#, SQL Server, EF Core, and Blazor.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the continued development and release of the new enterprise system.

• Provide post-launch support for the system to ensure its smooth operation.

• Work with .NET 5, C#, SQL Server, EF Core, and Blazor to develop and maintain the system.

• Help union members manage their dues and find union-sponsored jobs through the system.

• Encourage the referral of new members via the system.

• Maintain the system to ensure it is up-to-date and meets the needs of the users.

• Collaborate with the team to identify and solve system issues.

• Continuously learn and stay updated with new technologies and programming languages that could improve the system.

• Ensure the security and efficiency of the system.

• Provide technical support and training to users when necessary.

Requirements • Proficiency in .NET framework

• Proficient in programming languages such as C# - Sharp

• Experience with Entity Framework

• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server

• Skilled in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript

• Experience in creating and consuming Web API

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
