Elevance Health Provider Operations Mgr in Independence, Ohio
Location: 4361 IRWIN SIMPSON RD Mason, OH
Alternate locations may be considered. This position will work in a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model (virtual and office) with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection, with the minimum in-office commitment being 1-3 days in an office per week.
Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.
Responsible for guiding the vision, strategy, and execution of a product from conception to implementation for provider experience strategic initiative.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Developing and guiding the vision, strategy and execution of a product throughout its lifecycle.
Coordinates the request for standardization of operational readiness plans for provider initiatives and mentors team members.
Coordinates the request for development and delivery of required training to support the needs of the project team and operational/production users.
Coordinates the request for development and delivery of job aids for production operational users.
Monitors overall impact to Provider Experience Key Performance Indicators to identify and facilitate changes and alignment with business goals, objectives, and KPIs.
Leads and defines standards for provider experience business applications.
Identifies, leads and/or participates in targeted continuous improvement activities to understand process opportunities with business needs, pain points, and ensuring the product delivers value.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS degree in Business or related field and a minimum of 5 years within a healthcare organization supporting operations, provider or claims including experience with delivery of business systems and/or process improvement; minimum of 5 years of provider experience business disciplines within provider experience (provider call center, pricing, provider demographics); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experience:
Collaboration and communication skills at all levels (written/verbal) with key partners and leaders such as Business Partners, Operations, IT, Change Management, and others as needed.
Provider contracting experience and/or process understanding.
Experience with Microsoft tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Visio is a plus.
Ability to create and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features, business impact with use of Agile methodology and tools.
Ability to define product features and user stories, crafting specification that are detailed and clearly articulate design and functionality requirements.
Identify risks and issues that may impact timeliness and quality.
