Cleveland Clinic Project Manager III - Internal Audit in Independence, Ohio

As a Project Manager III, you will:

  • Focus on advisory work.

  • Help review projects proactively through a traditional audit approach.

  • Manage all aspects of moderately complex projects and lead/manage medium to large size projects.

  • Leverage basic project management tools to deliver results.

  • Accomplish project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities.

The ideal future caregiver is someone who:

  • Effectively works with directors within Internal Audit & Advisory Services and collaborate with directors across the enterprise.

  • Pays close attention to detail.

  • Has general business knowledge of internal controls and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages all aspects of moderately complex projects.

  • Leads/manages medium to large size projects, leveraging basic project management tools to deliver results.

  • Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.

  • Prepares and completes action plans Implements production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.

  • Resolves problems.

  • Completes audits. Identifies trends.

  • Determines system improvements and implements change.

  • Meets financial objectives by participating in developing forecasting requirements.

  • Participates in preparing an annual budget and scheduling expenditures.

  • Analyzes variances and initiates corrective actions.

  • Sets and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

  • Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications for the ideal caregiver include:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.

  • Minimum of three years project experience in assigned area which may include progressively responsible experience supporting a clinical system and/or data/financial analysis, etc.

  • Offset: Associate's degree and five years of experience.

  • Offset: Master's degree and two years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Strong Project Management Skills and Experience

  • IT Project Management Work

  • Internal Audit experience

Certifications:

  • Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred.

Complexity of Work:

  • Effective relationship building skills are required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.

  • May require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the health system to attend meetings.

  • Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.

  • Must have own transportation to travel to multiple sites.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $30.41

Maximum hourly: $46.38

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
