LJB Engineering is a national, multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm with multiple business lines including Transportation, Water Resources, Geospatial and Site Design, Buildings Structure Design and Safety/Fall Protection Design/Installation. Our diverse expertise, client base, and geographies have enabled LJB to serve clients in all 50 U.S. states and several countries. We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Mid-Level Civil Engineering Project Manager position in our Cleveland office. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience and possess the professional and interpersonal skills to make a positive impact on our firm and the clients we serve. The successful candidate will possess a can-do attitude, have a passion for and take pride in their work, be a creative thinker, and have a willingness to collaborate while having the ability to work independently. Pay: $85,000 133,000 based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards. Benefit Information: Here MID-LEVEL CIVIL ENGINEER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Design and manage all aspects of municipal and private engineering projects including: * Proposal preparation * Develop a proposed project fee * Reports and studies * Design and construction documents * Manage subconsultants * Scheduling, coordination, and budgeting * Provide design and permitting of municipal and private engineering projects including but not limited to sanitary sewers, sanitary lift stations, storm sewers, stormwater design, site plans and minor roadway projects. * Balance performing design work and business development efforts. * Project/task and client management. * Ability to develop new client relationships and maintain existing client relationships. * Ability to work in a team setting collaboratively with a group of transportation, water resource and site/civil engineers. * Ability to identify project issues and facilitate resolution. * Able to adapt to quickly changing priorities and conditions. * Ability to develop junior staff. * Coordinate with subconsultants. * Strong written and oral communication skills. * Provide professional sealed plan sets for clients. MID-LEVEL CIVIL ENGINEER ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS: Education: * Bachelor s degree in civil engineering required. * EIT required; PE license preferred.
