Program Summary

KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.

Job Summary

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and overhauls on Diesel Generators. Respond to generator emergencies and base power outages in the specified time. Assist with Aircraft Arresting systems whenever needed.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide back-up power to facilities and equipment as required. Perform generator training to facility managers. Provide technical assistance at all levels of maintenance to include observation of operation, maintenance, and repairs on associated equipment and instrumentation.

• Maintain and update operating logs, record, and Technical Orders as required.

• Comply with local and US safety standards and environmental laws.

• Subject to perform emergency call back work and to perform duties on non-normal duty periods or different shifts.

• Performs duties as laborer, driver, and other duties as required.

• Physical requirements include being able to lift 23 kilos, climbing, extended sitting or standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, heavy lifting and carrying and working in normal and adverse weather conditions due to work requirements.

• Utilize Government Vehicles (GOV) and abide by all policies and procedures related to GOV usage.

• Use hand and power tools associated with generator maintenance, electrical and mechanical work such as but not limited to, multi-meter, wrenches and screwdrivers.

• Excellent customer communication and relation abilities.

• Have excellent mechanical ability and be able to learn on the job.

Basic Qualifications

• Turkish Citizenship

• Capable to speak, read, write, and understand English Language “Minimum Level I”

• Have a current driver’s license (minimum “B” Class)

• Must Have fulfilled Turkish military obligation

• Capable of obtaining a Turkish security clearance

• Technical High School graduate/two-year University Graduate (must possess diploma

Preferred Qualifications

• Fuel pump repair experience
