Temporary Warehouse Assistant

Idaho Falls Power is seeking a full-time temporary Warehouse Assistant to assist with the remodeling of our warehouse.

This position will be responsible for the removal of old shelving, installation of new shelving, and the relocation of

merchandise and heavy boxes. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to

work well in a team environment.

Full-time temporary position, with potential for overtime. This position will last up to 5 months.

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility as needed to meet project deadlines.

Essential Functions

Assist in the removal of old shelving units.

Help with the installation of new shelving units.

Move and organize merchandise and heavy boxes as needed.

Ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Collaborate with the remodeling team to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Education and Experience:

A. Sufficient education and training to demonstrate an ability or aptitude to perform above duties;

OR

C. An equivalent combination of education and experience.

2. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Good common sense is a must. Self-motivated, team oriented, competent, hardworking, and safety minded.

Ability to work effectively with crews; Ability to quickly solve problems. Ability to work in all weather extremes; ability to

perform strenuous physical labor; ability to operate trucks, small motorized vehicles, and pick-up; ability to follow verbal and

written instructions; ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing; ability to develop effective working

relationships with fellow employees and the public.

3. Special Qualifications:

Final candidates will be subject to a background check prior to employment.

Must possess a valid Idaho Class D Driver\'s License.

Work Environment

Tasks require variety of physical activities, generally involving muscular strain, such as walking, standing, stooping, sitting,

reaching, lifting, etc.(moving up to 50 pounds and occasionally moving up to 80 pounds). Talking, hearing and seeing

essential to the performance of the job. Daily exposure to weather extremes and seasonal conditions. Common eye, hand,

finger dexterity exist. Mental application utilizes memory for details, verbal instructions, discriminating thinking. Frequent

local travel required in normal course of job performance.
