*What We Need:\ *We need an amazing Medical Assistant who can:

  • Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vital signs.
  • Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies.
  • Record patients\' medical history, vital statistics, or other pertinent information in medical records and charts.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.
  • Answer and respond to phone calls, faxes, and messages.
  • Send referrals, prescriptions, and documentation as requested.
  • Order additional procedures such as lab work or imaging as requested.
  • Give injections or treatments, draw blood, and perform routine laboratory tests.
  • Inventory and restock exam rooms as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.

*Who you are:\ *Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)\ 1 year of Medical Assisting experience\ Experienced using EMR systems\ Able to communicate effectively in all forms; verbal, non-verbal, written, in-person, etc.\ Able to maintain strict confidentiality.

Even better if you are:\ Bilingual-Spanish\ Experienced in Integrative/Holistic settings

Office hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday Thursday, and 8:00 am - 2:00 pm on Friday! Compensation for this position starts at \$15.00/hour.
