HYRUM CITY CORP Senior Center Director in HYRUM, Utah
Hyrum City is seeking a part time Senior Center Director to plan and coordinate the day-to-day operations of Hyrum Senior Citizen Center.
The Senior Center Director for Hyrum City will (see complete job description at www.hyrumcity.com):
· Develop and maintain policy and procedures for senior center operations and programs.
· Conducts needs assessments to determine programs and activities that best meet the desired interests of the local seniors
· Develop new programs or redefine existing programs to meet assessment objectives.
· Plans, organizes, and directs the daily operations of senior citizen center.
· Schedules various functions to promote senior citizen activity.
· Monitors use of facilities to maximize availability.
· Promote Center's programs and activities through the local media to the general public to better acquaint seniors with available programs.
· Develop and foster a close working relationship with seniors; develops and coordinates special programs for senior citizen center patrons.
Required Education and Experience:
Education: High School Graduate or GED Graduation from college with a bachelor's degree in social sciences, gerontology, or related field is preferred and Four (4) years of e xperience performing above or related duties. Food Handlers Certificate, Utah State Food Handlers Permit, Serv Safe Certified, CPR and First Aid Certified; and possess a valid Utah Driver's License.
