This position reports to: Senior Director of Outbound Product Management - Security Operations Workflows

The Team:

This role is part of our Security Operations product team. You will be a champion in the Outbound Product Management organization, a talented and supportive group that is passionate about evangelizing our products internally and externally. You will work cross-functionally, with product teams, customers, partners, and the field to enhance the overall experience with the solution and to drive world-class go-to-market readiness and execution.

The Role:

As a Prinicipal Outbound Product Manager you are a product expert, and product leader, and will play a critical role in: the evangelization of Security Operations product lines, the establishment and conveyance of best practices, and connecting the voice of our customers and global teams with our Inbound Product Managers.

What you get to do in this role:

Drive Revenue:

  • Develop compelling storytelling and demonstrations through clear guidance for customers to expand their ServiceNow footprint by establishing the product as their product of choice

  • Communicate the product story (vision/direction) in high-touch settings to support customer acquisition & retention

  • Support demo design of Security Operations products, and collaborate with our DemoHub developer team on creation and continual improvement

  • Create & maintain enablement materials for Sales teams

Improve our products:

  • Gather and share customer input to address adoption blockers and inform content, product strategy, and investments

  • Shape roadmap by sharing personal subject matter expertise with Inbound Product Management

  • Support design of product telemetry to measure customer usage and outcomes

  • Detect and share opportunities for cross-product solutions

Help customers achieve value:

  • Work with our Product Success & Ranger teams to engage and assist accounts in adoption of new products, document learnings and develop recommended guidance for installing, implementing, and/or adopting

  • Provide product technical & functional expertise to customers in high-touch settings

  • Support implementation teams by creating and evangelizing best practices through artifacts and sessions

  • Regularly converse with our customers in the ServiceNow Community Forums

  • Design and share advanced product usage maturity models

  • Become a leading voice in at-scale workshops, webinars, and other customer adoption initiatives or events

  • Partner with Product Marketing on presentations and messaging

  • Support our Training Curriculum and Training Delivery teams

  • Technical mastery of the NOW platform and ServiceNow business solutions

  • Domain mastery of Security Incident Handling, Vulnerability Response, Threat Intelligence, Configuration Compliance, Data Loss Prevention

  • 5+ years in a customer-facing role with product management, technical pre-sales or similar roles

  • 2+ years in implementation or pre-sales of ServiceNow Security Operations desired

  • Proven ability to use ServiceNow scripting to solve problems and/or automate large amounts of manual work desired

  • Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills, with international experience

  • Exceptional communication skills to include technical and business concepts

  • Exceptional written communications skills and ability to create compelling narratives

  • Must enjoy working in a highly collaborative environment

  • Ability to think strategically, learn fast and communicate with impact

  • Ability to travel internationally

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience
