What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with a team of talented engineers, product managers, quality analysts to design technical solutions and build new features and enhancements to Park Place products.

  • Craft high-performing, reusable code, implement unit tests, and engage in code reviews to uphold best practices and industry standards.

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment of .NET applications in Azure.

  • Conduct thorough code reviews and provide mentorship to team members.

  • Participate in Sprint planning and provide accurate estimates on projects/tasks.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot application performance, scalability, and security issues in Azure environments.

  • Be an advocate of modern engineering practices & DevOps practices and be available as needed to support production deployments.

  • Identify opportunities to modernize legacy systems and automate business processes.

  • Foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and continuous learning within the team while adhering to established team processes.

  • Assist in supporting, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues, including direct interactions with internal and/or external customers as needed.

  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

    What we’re looking for:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure, .NET, C#, ASP.NET and related technologies.

  • 7+ years of proven experience in software development with a strong understanding of Software architecture and design principles.

  • 3+ years of development experience with front end frameworks like Angular/React etc.

  • Experience designing and building cloud-native solutions using Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure Event Hubs, etc.

  • Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating with external systems.

  • Good understanding of Test-Driven Development/Unit Testing frameworks, design patterns, security principles and best practices in cloud environments.

  • Experience with DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code, configuration management, and continuous integration and deployment.

  • Experience with code analysis and review tools, such as SonarQube, CodeClimate, etc.

  • Strong knowledge of Git concepts such as branching, merging, pull requests, and conflict resolution.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and propose effective solutions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

    Bonus Points:

  • Relevant certifications such as Azure Developer/Architect/Administrator etc.

  • Prior experience with Event driven architectures, distributed systems and Microservices is a big plus.

  • Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform, Low Code/No Code solutions.

  • Contributions to projects on GitHub, developer communities like Stack Overflow, Microsoft Q&A, published blog posts etc.

  • Experience working in a global environment involving multiple development teams across various time zones.

  • Prior development experience with Java technologies

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related degree is preferred.
