The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Platform organization at Microsoft builds the end-to-end Azure AI stack/Platform as a Service (PaaS) and is core to Azure’s innovation and differentiation, as well as all of Microsoft’s flagship products, from Office to Teams, to Xbox. Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and test a function or component for our AI/DNN (Deep Neural Network) frameworks and tools

• Speeding up/reducing complexity of key components/pipelines to improve performance and/or efficiency of our systems

• Interacting and collaborating with our partners both internal and external

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:   

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, or PythonOR equivalent experience

• 5+ years experience designing and developing production software

• Experience with architecting, designing, coding, debugging, problem analysis and problem solving

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:  

• Experience in large scale distributed computation, system programming, information retrieval, or machine learning

• Ability to drive cross-team collaboration and ship production features in a fast-paced startup environment

• Demonstrated technical leadership skills

• Humility and openness to feedback
