Position: Software Engineer II, Enterprise Data Migration Developer

Location: India - Hyderabad

Position Summary

As a Software Engineer, you will work with a team of Bristol Myers Squibb and Service Provider's resources to provide day-to-day in delivering Data migration and ingestion from legacy ERP solutions to SAP. Primary focus will be to provide data migration from various source/target applications. Secondary will be to assist, when needed, application/solution delivery for other data integration platforms managed by the Enterprise Data Integration organization.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

You will report into the Lead for data migration Delivery. You will have accountability to provide solutions for various data migration and ingestion to SAP. To provide appropriate migration solution delivery, you will collaborate with Data migration and integration Development and Support team and IT Partners/Clients. You will be responsible to implement new solutions, work on enhancements and service requests related to data migration pipelines that are running for various applications. Enterprise application data migration span internally hosted applications, SaaS applications, and/or external partners.

This role offers the selected candidate the opportunity to interact with Bristol Myers Squibb professionals globally, partnering with other IT organizations and business organizations across the company. You will work with passionate and motivated individuals. As a member of the Enterprise data migration and integration team, you will have the opportunity to gain insight into all faucets of Bristol Myers Squibb businesses from early discovery to manufacturing & logistics to commercial and financial operations. You will be a valued member of the Enterprise Data migration and Integration Build team focused on fulfilling the Bristol Myers Squibb mission to discover, develop and deliver innovative medicines that help patients prevail over serious diseases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable in data migration from legacy ERP to SAP and working with applications stakeholders for timely Project/Integration Delivery.

  • Assist in analyzing data mapping according to business domain.

  • Collaborate with Infrastructure teams for capacity planning / performance optimization.

  • Provide proactive and appropriate communication (written and verbally) to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proactively analyze and optimize Data Integrations and data migration pipeline performance.

  • Participate in recurring and ad-hoc meetings related to analysis and build activities between Hyderabad and US teams.

  • Based on the need Provide non-business hours, weekend, on-call support on rotational basis for production releases.

  • Willing to learn and support other real-time data integration technologies that are supported by the team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP data migration domain.

  • 4+ years hands-on experience in SAP data migration from different various ERP applications using SAP tools listed below -

  • SAP LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench)

  • SAP LTMC (Landscape Transformation Migration Cockpit)

  • SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit (Fiori App)

  • SAP LTMOM (Landscape Transformation Migration Object Modeler)

  • SAP Functional Knowledge in any module listed below

  • SAP Sales and Distribution (SD)

  • SAP Materials Management (MM)

  • SAP Production Planning (PP)

  • SAP Financial Accounting (FI)

  • ETL Tool Experience with SQL - for Writing transformation procedure/Reports

  • Informatica Experience would be a plus.

  • S4HANA Experience would be a plus.

  • Nice to have knowledge or experience to other Integration tools /technologies Informatica, AWS services, WebMethods.

  • Understanding of Cloud Services Platforms such as AWS, Salesforce, Veeva, etc would be a plus.

  • Experience working with on and offshore resourced teams.

  • Nice to have a certification in any SAP or ETL tool.
