Oracle Software Developer 4 in HYDERABAD, India

Job Description

The ideal candidate can manage fast paced change enabled by technology while leveraging their proven program and project management capabilities. The role comes with a high degree of personal accountability and autonomy and will require effective engagement across multiple fusion apps teams. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to own the planning, design, and execution of processes. They will drive decision-making, roadmaps, and initiative implementation to achieve measurable impact for the organization.

Responsibilities

Ideal Experience

  • Should have Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent degree with 6-8 years of experience in Software/Web development in Java/Python/Shell Script.

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in program/project management experience.

  • Experience supporting large-scale SaaS/cloud applications, with a good understanding of cloud architecture.

  • Good functional and technical leadership capability with strong planning and follow up skills, mentorship, work Allocation, monitoring and status updates to Project Coordinator.

  • Development experience in Java / J2EE technologies, SQL, PL/SQL , HTML, Java script, Rest APIs, Web Services, Web servers, Applications Servers. Familiarity with devops tools - GIT/Jenkins/Docker/Gradle.

  • Understanding of Microservice architecture with containers such as Docker, Kubernetes is desirable.

  • Knowledge on Security Scanners (Sonatype, Sophos, McAfee) is desirable.

  • Proven ability to create effective relationships, listen, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels.

  • Excellent communication skills including high quality written communications and the ability to articulate complex information in a simple way.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of a solution or platform.

  • Work as a techno-functional lead coordinating with software engineering , cloud/SaaS operations and product management teams.

  • Proactively identify gaps in the existing infrastructure and development process, acting as a catalyst for change for greater system and solution efficiency.

  • Estimate the effort required for both current and future small to large-scale projects.

  • Iterate with strategy and operations organizations to maintain solution vision.

  • Share knowledge within the team through mentoring, coaching, technical talks, and blogging.

  • Provide program and project management expertise to complex business initiatives that are global in nature, understanding inter-dependencies between process, technology, and people needs

  • Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and ensure that project goals are in line with customer and business objectives.
