Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. The roles in this function will cover all primary development activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products and services and to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.
These roles include, but are not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output. This also includes evaluating new tools, new techniques, strategies; Automation of common tasks; build of common utilities to drive organizational efficiency with a passion around technology and solutions and influence of thought and leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative ways. Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed.
Primary Responsibilities:
Works with less structured, more complex issues
Serves as a resource to others

Required Qualifications:
BTech, MCA
7+ years of experience in Azure cloud development and management - experience with AWS, GCP is a plus
5+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform
5+ years of experience with CI/CD tools and concepts (e.g. Azure Pipelines, Jenkins.)
Extensive experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Splunk, Azure Monitor and Application Insights
Proven excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Solid scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages
Proficiency in at least 3 of these Azure Services (Azure Functions, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Security and Azure Database)
Solid working knowledge of container-based infrastructure on Azure (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, etc.)
Cloud Infrastructure and Services Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, including virtual machines, app services, databases, and networking. Experience with Azure-specific tools like Azure Resource Manager and Azure Kubernetes Service
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Experience with automating the software delivery process using tools like Git, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Services, Octopus Deploy and skills in scripting deployment tasks and managing build processes are crucial
Configuration Management: Knowledge of tools like Chef, Terraform to manage and automate infrastructure
Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python
Monitoring and Logging: Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Application Insights to ensure system reliability and performance
Security Best Practices: Understanding of cybersecurity measures, including vulnerability assessments and risk management
Preferred Qualification:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
