Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and technical direction on the test strategy, approach and planning towards the design, implementation and maintenance of test assets in support of the delivery of solutions

• Collaborate closely with scrum teams within portfolio to promote best QA engineering practices in support of testing activities and project delivery

• Provide insight to solution design and architecture from quality assurance perspective including both functional and non-functional attributes

• Deliver and drive Test Automation strategy and ensure adoption within scrum teams. Use your knowledge of automation tools and best practices to facilitate progression automation

• Responsible for advancing quality engineering function and deliverables

• Ensure Quality Engineering teams can automate systems under test and achieve success at In-sprint Automation through innovation and

• collaboration with quality engineering teams, enterprise architecture, development engineering teams, and related business functions

• Serves as strategic technical manager in design and implementation of test software for Communications applications, system architectures and framework or software test tools that achieve desired company, systems application and development functionality

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality release of software products on time and within budget

• Identifying areas for improvement in quality systems and processes and implementing initiatives that enhance the overall effectiveness of quality assurance strategies

• Proven experience in various Proof of Concepts (POCs) to keep the automation framework and technology in sync with the current product offerings and guiding team members with the proper guidance to complete the POCs

• Application Performance

• Ownership of release from an application performance standpoint . Build and scale infrastructure for running performance tests. Build performance tools for development teams

• Create and enhance report dashboards for work being performed by the Quality Engineering team

• Lead and contribute to proof-of-concept initiatives to evaluate new technologies, especially within the Microsoft technology stack, Open Sources tools, AI practices

• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• 14 - 18 years of experience in hands-on software automation

• Experience with observability solutions and platforms including, but not limited to, Splunk, DataDog, Grafana

• Microsoft technology stack, C#, .Net, VB .Net, IIS, SQL Server, T-SQL, Mongo DB, Event Driven Design, Kafka, Micro-services, REST API. HCP and Azure/ GCP/ AWS, Stash and GitHub, Docker, Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright

• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

• Ability to learn and apply industry best patterns and practices from QA engineering standpoint for web application, event driven & micro services, and batch process

• Detailed understanding of cloud technologies and experience in or exposure to building & testing cloud-based applications

• Detailed technical understanding of software development & testing practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven

• Development (BDD)and life cycles and demonstrable experience to simplify & streamline testing processes in an Agile environment

• Proven excellent communications and stakeholder management skills, with an established business acumen

• Proven & demonstrable experience and kills in QA governance & management for Digital project delivery through effective use of data trending analytics and metrics

• Delivery methodology such as Continuous Delivery (CD) and DevOps, continuous integration technologies

• Virtualisation & containerisation tools large scale enterprise application architecture and technologies

• Ability to use statistical tools and techniques to analyze quality data and trends
