Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities in the Real Estate and Facilities industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of all facility-related activities, including maintenance, repairs, and operations. This role requires a strong background in engineering, facility management, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish Engineering & Operational procedures and roll out the same for site staff.

  • Establish contacts with local authorities on facility-related issues and maintain the relationship. Responsible for all legal and authorities-related compliances pertaining to facility and engineering systems.

  • Plan and manage the budgets for Engineering & Operational contracts.

  • Carry out Technical Audits for all installations at periodical intervals.

  • Review the maintenance/service practices of M&E Contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations.

  • Plan and take responsibility for smooth operations of all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing installations and Civil works pertaining to the facility.

  • Responsible for planning a critical spares list for all installations as per manufacturer’s recommendations and inventory.

  • Responsible for the development of all maintenance-related schedules and shutdowns in consultation with Clients/OEMs.

  • Periodically inspect the logbooks, checklists, and PPM schedules for better management of Engineering systems.

  • Work towards ‘ZERO’ downtime and set up practices to ensure the delivery of seamless service to Clients.

  • Responsible for ensuring landlord’s compliance on the availability of all statutory obligations such as CEIG, Fire, Lift, Explosives, and stability certificate.

  • Responsible for setting up the maintenance contracts to ensure risk mitigation to the Client operations.

  • Assume the responsibilities of SFM, as and when required.

  • Implement Energy management programs to reduce the cost of utilities.

  • Handle small renovation projects from initiation to completion. Little knowledge in Project management is essential.

  • Reporting:

  • Responsible for weekly and monthly reports on M&E, covering maintenance contracts, spare parts consumption, Incident reports, Improvement projects, etc.

  • Energy management, saving opportunities, risk management, and engineering systems audits.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in facility management, maintenance, and operations, preferably in the Real Estate and Facilities industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.

  • Professional certification in facility management (e.g., CFM, FMP, SFP).

  • Experience with energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
