Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and implement data classification strategies and policies
Implement data de-identification, data protection, data masking, and tokenization techniques
Stay updated with industry standards, best practices, and regulations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance
Conduct assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities
Deliver training programs on data classification, protection, and compliance
Implement data storage, data modeling, and data retrieval techniques to ensure optimal performance and scalability
Perform data profiling, data cleansing, and data transformation to ensure data quality and integrity
Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into a usable format, and
load it into the target systems
Optimize data processing and data storage for large-scale data sets to ensure efficient data retrieval and analytics
Implement data security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Tools: Varonis Data Classification Framework, Microsoft Azure Information Protection, Delphix Data Masking, Symantec Data Loss
Prevention, RSA Archer Suite, Compliance 360 or similar

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
12+ years of experience in database technologies with solid expertise in SQL Server, Azure, and related frameworks
Extensive experience in designing and developing data solutions, data pipelines, and data integration systems
Experience with ETL tools, database design- architecture and processes
Proficiency in data modeling, data warehousing, and data retrieval techniques
In-depth knowledge of data privacy regulations and standards
Solid understanding of data classification, data de-identification, data protection, tokenization, and compliance
