Wells Fargo Senior CIB Portfolio Manager in Hyderabad, India
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior CIB Portfolio Manager.
In this role, you will:
Participate in monitoring, documenting, underwriting, and reacting to the credit quality of an assigned portfolio of loans within Corporate Banking Portfolio Management functional area and contribute to large scale planning related to functional area deliverables
Review and research moderately complex business challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a Corporate Banking Portfolio Management team to meet project deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a mentor for less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Experience in CIB Portfolio Management, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:
- Experience in CIB Portfolio Management, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
At least a MBA or an equivalent qualification
8+ years of experience in credit analysis, portfolio management, debt research, corporate lending or structured finance (corporate loan analysis or CLOs)
Advanced Excel and analytical skills
Strong communication skills – both verbal and written. Ability to clearly & concisely speak on complex topics, as well as strong business writing skills
High level of personal motivation, strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work across continents
Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment and juggle a variety of tasks (time management skills are important)
Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Job Expectations:
Credit analysis of loan collaterals to support the lending decisions.
Financial statement analysis covering various trends including key computing ratios for leveraged loans
Understanding credit agreements of loans and summarizing key deal terms
Analysis on loan portfolio financial performance and trends including reporting on troubled loans, losses and recoveries
Reviewing monthly client reporting to check for completeness & accuracy of financial calculations including covenants
Tracking & reporting on financial trends of the client or loan given by the bank
Preparing monthly and/or quarterly surveillance decks to report on the above
Maintaining various databases and spreadsheets for internal reporting
Training & mentoring junior colleagues along with reviewing, checking & overseeing and undertaking workflow planning
Experience in Asset Backed Finance will be a big plus
CFA level I, II or III
CA / CS / CWA or an equivalent professional qualification
Advanced Microsoft Skills (Excel & PowerPoint) with understanding and experience with Macros/VBA/coding
