You Will Be Part of Growing Team

Finance is a Global team tasked with supporting Finance processing requests across various regions.Our team is comprised of members supporting and providing support to the Finance Team and business across from various regions.

The role will be performed within the frame of Corteva’ s Brand values:

Job responsibilities

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports related to accounts payable activities (e.g., aging reports, payment trends, vendor performance).

  • Analyze AP data to provide insights into payment cycles, cash flow, outstanding liabilities, and vendor reconciliation.

  • Create and deliver AP performance dashboards and reports for senior management and cross-functional teams.

  • Analyze payment trends to identify opportunities for process improvement or cost-saving measures.

Data Management:

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of AP data, performing reconciliations between accounts payable and general ledger.

  • Assist in the preparation of reports for month-end and year-end financial closing processes.

  • Maintain an organized database of vendor information, payment terms, and historical payment data.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify trends, issues, and inefficiencies within the AP process and recommend solutions to enhance workflows, reduce errors, and increase automation.

  • Collaborate with the AP team and other departments to streamline processes, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment approvals.

  • Provide insights into compliance risks and assist in resolving discrepancies or issues with payments.

Vendor Management:

  • Support vendor relationship management through regular communication, resolving disputes, and optimizing payment terms.

  • Ensure timely payments are made in accordance with vendor agreements and payment terms.

  • Manage vendor queries and provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries.

Key Metrics and KPIs:

  • Track and report on key AP performance indicators (KPIs) such as payment cycle time, vendor discounts, days payable outstanding (DPO), and others.

  • Use data to assess the effectiveness of AP processes and provide actionable insights to management.

Collaboration & Support:

  • Work closely with internal departments such as Finance, Procurement, and IT to ensure smooth operations and reporting systems.

  • Support the team with ad-hoc analytical requests and assist with troubleshooting data-related issues.

Compliance & Audit Support:

  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and accounting standards.

  • Assist in audit preparation by providing necessary documentation and supporting the AP audit process.

Corteva Global Service Center, Hyderabad, India

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance ,business administration, or related field

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, finance, or accounting, with at least 2 years focused on reporting and data analysis.

  • Experience with accounting software and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Excel).

  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and AP best practices.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent proficiency in Excel, with the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, and charts for reporting.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • VBA and Python Skill set is added advantage.

Preferred Skills.

  • Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Familiarity with automation and process improvement techniques in AP.
