Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

Responsibilities :

  • You will work closely with other development teams, product management, UX, and QA to translate user requirements into technical solutions, creating prototypes, solution implementation, testing scripts, and deployments.

  • The responsive solution is created on top of NetSuite platform using latest Front End technologies that enables workflow creations with features like User Controls, Barcode scanning and cloud printing.

  • You will use existing methods and best practices in software industry to create features and platforms with the highest levels of security, reliability, efficiency, scalability and usability.

  • Preparing test plans and contributing in QA Automation/Performance and Scalability tests.

  • You will be providing support to new/junior team members.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor/Master degree in computer engineering or equivalent

  • 6 to 10+ years of software testing experience with a proven track record of making technical decisions

  • Quick Learner and Open to work with new Framework

  • Intimate working understanding of modern hybrid applications

  • Must have hands on experience of development/scripting skills in languages like Java, JavaScript, Groovy, C#, .NET

  • Good understanding of object oriented programming, J2EE architecture, .NET, etc.

  • Knowledge of automated testing tools like Selenium, WinRunner, QTP, Rational Robot, etc.

  • Good Database Skills

  • Experience in NetSuite and SuiteScript will be an added advantage

Excellent communicator in both technical and non-technical contexts. Able to mentor and assist the junior members.

Responsibilities

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design functional, integration and regression test plans, build and execute manual and automated tests and perform highly complex analysis for multiple products. Set cross-functional product testing standards. Analyze, evaluate and plan methods of approach and organize means to achieve solutions to complex problems.

  • Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the product functionality and testing objectives

  • Execute, maintain, and review the results of existing automated tests, filing issues, and fixing tests as necessary. Create automated tests for new features being developed using open source/in-house tools/frameworks

  • Design and create test plans to address business and technical use cases

  • Analyze complex production environment issues and design automated tests for future validation.

  • Setup and configure real world production-like environments to validate software integration points,

  • Develop robust & reusable scripts during testing

  • Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment

  • Performance testing of different modules/use cases, analyzing the performance testing results

  • Scrubs issues in their product area, figuring out steps to reproduce in a test account based on steps to reproduce in a customer account
