Job Summary
If you are a Program Manager, Emerson has an exciting role and unique opportunity for you to develop platforms and solutions built on embedded hardware and innovative Industrial Control Systems! We are looking for Program Manager to work with our Controls and Software team. As a Program Manager you will be leading a multi-functional team in creating and implementing plans that deliver the latest in Industrial Control System platforms and solutions. You would be part of a versatile and innovative technology team. We would like you to fuel your program management skills and deliver industry leading solutions which solves customer’s toughest challenges.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
To provide leadership to a multi-functional team in the development of our next generation automation platforms.
To work with self-motivated and multi-functional teams to transform customer needs into our products, platforms, and solutions.
To involve in all phases of embedded product development (hardware and software) from product definition, prototyping, and production release.
To use Agile software development practices to lead the design & test our products using Continuous Integration.
To cultivate an environment of continuous learning and improving.
To drive continuous and measurable improvement in productivity, quality, efficiency and reliability.
To make technical presentations to peers and managers on the details of your project.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience in computer engineering or any other engineering field with 10-12 years of project management experience in an embedded product development.
PMP certified professional and Scrum Master certification would be an added advantage.
Working experience in leading complex product development programs in a global setup.
Hands on experience in Electronics Hardware/Embedded Software development would be useful.
Project management experience in embedded product development is a must for this role.
To have demonstrated ability to plan/manage budget, resources, work activities, and risks/mitigations working on New Product Development (NPD) projects.
Organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills with cross cultural adaptation.
To have demonstrated time management and multi-tasking abilities.
Experience working on teams that use the Agile Scrum development methods.
