Job Description

We are looking for a Principal Platform Software Engineer for Oracle-NetSuite in Hyderabad location. As a Principal Platform Software Engineer, you will help us deliver our market leading suite success suite that powers many of the world’s largest ERP.

You will assist in designing, developing, debugging, writing PoCs, conducting performance benchmark of software applications. Ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to apply technology to solve real business problems. They will be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical constituencies. Above all, they will demonstrate a clear ability to create robust, easily extensible solutions for our customers.

Experience/Skills :

• 12+ years of experience in developing software products

• B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E. or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics

• Familiarity with various software programming techniques and software development tools as a full stack developer is a must

• Must have strong hands on experience of design, coding skills in languages like Java, JavaScript or JS Libraries

• Skilled in integration approaches and strategies

• Good understanding of object-oriented programming

• Good database skills

• Must have good exposure to STLC and should be able to design automation framework and also add the required utilities.

• Should be able to perform POC’s and do the feasibility study

• Should be able to review the code given by both Dev and QA Engineers and guide them

• Must be flexible, independent, and self-motivated

• Working in agile / Scrum / Kanban environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Prior ERP background is an added advantage

• Experience in NetSuite and SuiteScript will be an added advantage

• Development experience with rich UI development (MVVM and etc.)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain components of the overall platform development environment, which may include components within the core application, components in the platform layer, components of the platform development environment, and integration components with development tools.

• Create prototypes and provide guidance to scrum team on creating solutions on top of NetSuite platform.

• Enable ISVs, partners, and customers to create robust, cloud-based applications that naturally integrate with and extend the capabilities of the business suite at the core of the NetSuite application.

• Groom the leads of team across globe and help them in identifying the inter communicating modules and impacts during development

• Develop platform components in areas ranging from customization and workflow to programming APIs, development and test frameworks, deployment mechanisms, web services and more.

• Work closely with platform team and also the core product team.

• Performs the code reviews

• Work closely with product management and other supporting teams to define and implement these components.
