Job Description

As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical inquiries regarding the use of and tackle for our Electronic Support Services. A main point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and esccalled outsues. As a Sr. Support Engineer, you will be the technical interface to customers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and valuable Resellers (VARs) for resolution of problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance and use of Oracle products. Have an understanding of all Oracle products in their competencies and in-depth knowledge of several products and/or platforms. Also, you should be highly experienced in multiple platforms and be able to complete assigned duties with minimal direction from management. In this position, you will routinely act independently while researching and developing solutions to customer issues. Job duties are varied and complex using independent judgment. May have project lead role. 4 years experience with Core products or five years experience with Applications products and have a technical degree i.e., BS Computer Science/Management Information Systems/Science/ Engineering/Math/Physics/Chemistry with a 3.0 GPA OR (for Applications) proven professional/ technical experience, i.e., demonstrating an understanding of Applications at a functional and technical level (preferably Oracle)

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Position is for a Functional/Technical Support Professional, preferably with some implementation background in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financial(ERP)/Supply Chain Management(SCM) Applications.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing excellent customer service support, diagnosis, replication, resolving Technical issues of sophisticated nature (with the help of Functional experts) and critical service requests. The focus of this position is to provide Customer Service on a technical level and to ultimately drive complete and total resolution of each issue reported by customer.

Job Responsibilities:

The main role of this Support engineer is to solve and resolve highly complex technical problems. Good technical/functional skills, Oracle products knowledge, problem solving skills, and customer interaction/service expertise.

Education & Experience:

BE, BTech, MCA , CA or equivalent preferred. Other qualifications with adequate experience may be considered.

5+ years relevant working experience

##Functional/Technical Knowledge & Skills:

Must have good understanding of the following Oracle Cloud Financials/SCM version 13 latest release capabilities:

We are looking for a Functional/technical person who has real-time hands-on Functional/technical/BIP report development experience; and/or worked with L2 or L3 level support; and/or having equivalent knowledge. Knowledge of Groovy/Java would be added advantage

We expect candidate to have:

  1. Some business processes knowledge and concepts.

  2. Technical Implementation/Support experience on either of the area -

a) Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud Financial Modules like GL(General Ledger), AP(Payables), AR(Receivables), FA (Fixed Assets), IBY (Banking), PA (Projects), CST(Cost Management), ZX(Taxes) and PSA or

c) Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud - Supply Chain Management Modules like Inventory, OM(Order Management), Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Planning

Good to have skills: Oracle E-Business Suite Applications (R12)

Candidate must have hands on technical/functional experience minimum in any of the 5 modules on the above pillars.

  1. Ability to relate the product functionality to business processes

  2. Deep Technical Skills in SQL, PL/SQL, OTBI/ BIP/FRS reports, FBDI, ADFDI, BPM workflows, ADF Faces, REST/SOAP Integrations, BI Extract for FTP, Payment Integration and Personalization.

  3. Java/Groovy skills could be an added advantage

  4. Good problem-solving skills.

  5. Candidate should be able to interact with customer effectively over Zoom/Microsoft Teams/Email and should committed to provide good Customer service. Candidate should understand customer’s critical situations and provide the response accordingly, mobilizing the organizational resources as needed, while setting realistic expectations to customers.

  6. Strong operations management and innovation orientation so you can continually improve the processes, methods, tools, and utilities. Candidate is expected to coordinate with various teams in Oracle/Customer side on a regular basis.

  7. Solid teammate so candidates can demonstrate other existing/newly joined resources strengths. Candidate will be engaged in collaboration with peers within/across the teams often.

  8. Candidate should be self-motivated/Dedicated to learning new/emerging business models/processes, applications product solutions, product features, technology features – and use this learning to deliver value to customers every day.

  9. High flexibility so you remain agile in a fast-changing business and organizational environment.

  10. Create and maintain appropriate documentation for architecture, design, technical, implementation, support and test activities.

Note:

Working in Shifts is preferred. Candidate should be open to work in evening and night shifts on rotation basis.
