Job Description
Position Overview:
The Position is for an Oracle EBS Technical Developer – Order to Cash (OTC).
The main role of a Technical Developer is to Design an d Develop the code as a part of CEMLI Break fix/Enhancement and/or new object development per business need
This role also gives an opportunity to work with Cloud and On-Premise customers. This work includes:
Work directly with Customers for
Advising on complex use of Oracle products
Resolving highly complex and mission-critical issues
Manage highly complex and critical customer issues
Serve as Situation Manager on highly sensitive issues
Consult with Management in directing resolution of critical customer situations
Knowledge gain and sharing - achieve knowledge transfer with teammates through Development and delivery of formal team training sessions
Formal mentoring for promoting the technical and professional development of others
Creation/review of Knowledge Articles
Qualifications:
Must Have Skills
2 to 3 years of experience in Oracle R12 EBS OTC technical areas
Required Technical Skill Set : In depth knowledge of technical space: 6i Oracle Reports & Forms, XML Publisher, PL/SQL, Discover, Forms Personalization, Custom PLL, OAF, OAF UI pages, Workflow, Conversions, Interfaces, Extensions using various standard Oracle and custom APIs, Oracle WebADI, Integration Development, BI publisher, XML Data template, RDF , XSL-FO and EFT;
Able to work as a team player with other technical resources, excellent communication skills to be able to work with customer technical leads to understand requirements, test results, articulate / play back requirements for clarity and comprehension.
Excellent coding skills with proper techniques and able to follow prescribed development standards, processes, and boundaries provided by customer.
Microsoft development skills a plus.
Work with users to troubleshoot and resolve issues, answers business questions provides data analysis
Should be able to understand the business process flow and perform functional testing as per the business requirement with appropriate test scripts
Conduct training and knowledge sharing sessions

Good command over spoken & written English
Interact directly with customers, follows through on all assignments and takes ownership of customer issues

Academics:
B.S (Computer Science) or equivalent preferred.
Other qualifications with adequate experience may be considered.

Responsibilities
As a Support Engineer, you will be the technical interface to customers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) for resolution of problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance and use of Oracle products. Your primary task will be to provide support to customers who contact the Oracle Solution Center and maintain high level of customer satisfaction while meeting guidelines (mostly through electronic means). Able to work with general guidance from senior support engineers and management and, in some areas, may work independently. Solutions often take time to develop through research, collaboration or problem replication.
