Job Description

We’re looking for an Oracle Application Express (APEX) developer to join our team to assist with the design, development & deployment of internal applications for our organization - all built with APEX. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, confident in their abilities, fast-paced, and lives and breathes APEX development.

You will work closely with our Organization Leaders and other developers to understand business requirements, create technical specifications, and deliver high-quality software solutions. Your expertise in Oracle APEX and SQL/PLSQL, JavaScript, and CSS will be essential in optimizing performance and ensuring the robustness of our applications.

Furthermore, you will explore incorporating AI and ML into existing and new applications.

Responsibilities

As an APEX developer, you will be responsible for:

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications.

• Collaborate with business analysts to gather and analyze requirements.

• Create technical specifications based on business needs.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures.

• Implement and manage database objects such as tables, views, indexes, and sequences.

• Perform debugging and troubleshooting to ensure optimal application performance.

• Integrate APEX applications with other systems and data sources.

• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all development activities.

• Stay updated with the latest APEX and Oracle technologies and trends.

Certifications:

• Oracle APEX certification is a plus.
