Functional Competency: Oracle Fusion/ EBS modules – SCM, HCM, Financials, CRM, EPM, Manufacturing

About the team: ASE (Application Service Excellence)

The Oracle Application Service Excellence (ASE) team is dedicated to delivering world-class support and services that empower customers to achieve optimal performance and value from their Oracle applications. With a focus on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and innovation, the ASE team plays a pivotal role in driving success across Oracle's diverse portfolio of application offerings. Delivers delightful customer experiences across the portfolio. Encompassing SaaS Support, Provisioning Operations, High Touch Support, and On-Premise Applications Support. Our teams of customer-oriented professionals are charged with ensuring that customers are realizing value from their Oracle applications investments.

Qualification Required:

  • Strong Technical and Functional expertise in enterprise applications and infrastructure.

  • Experience in Oracle ERP Fusion or EBS Applications with working experience on any of the modules such as SCM, HCM, Financials, CRM, EPM.

  • Experience in Apps DBA, Sys DBA, or similar roles with a focus on building and troubleshooting business applications.

  • Proficiency in integration platforms (Oracle Integration Cloud) and troubleshooting across application, middleware, and database layers.

  • Deep knowledge of SOAP, REST, WebLogic, SOA, and infrastructure diagnostics.

  • Skilled in monitoring, tuning, and optimizing complex applications to meet customer expectations.

  • Ability to mentor junior team members and simplify technical information for executives.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a focus on resolving customer issues quickly.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • As a Product Support Engineer, you play a critical role in ensuring the success of Oracle’s enterprise solutions by delivering expert post-sales technical support.

  • Independently resolve complex application, integration, and performance issues using your expertise in middleware, databases, and debugging, while also contributing to sustaining engineering tasks such as troubleshooting and optimizing extension and algorithm code.

  • Acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you collaborate across teams to address critical customer challenges, proactively identify potential issues, and recommend improvements to products and documentation.

  • Through effective communication and knowledge sharing, you drive operational stability, enhance system performance, and ensure customers achieve maximum value from their Oracle applications.

  • Focus on performance troubleshooting in customer environments and identify root causes.

  • Analyze performance metrics and conduct health checks to identify potential impact areas.

  • Review performance issues, provide improvement recommendations, and collaborate with Operations.

  • Collaborate with Product Strategy to recommend product improvements.

  • Handle complex technical issues during critical customer escalations.

  • Develop tools and utilities like sensors, log parsers, and scripts to improve support and performance.

  • Work with Development to integrate tools and improve applications with a shift-left focus.

  • Enhance self-service capabilities by improving documentation and reducing service requests.

  • Work in a 24/7 environment, including shifts on weekends and holidays.

  • Provide strategic technical services, including analysis, development, and debugging of software programs.

  • Drive proactive monitoring systems, implement solutions, and recommend product enhancements.

  • Collaborate with other teams to strengthen the support model and improve customer experience.
