Nexeo HR is seeking a highly responsible and skilled Saw Operator to join the team of a great company in the Logan,Utah area. As a Saw Operator,you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining saw equipment to cut precision parts according to specifications. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail,possess accurate measurement skills,and demonstrate prior experience operating saws and related machinery.

*Responsibilities *

Load and unload material and parts from saw.

Operate saws to cut stock,adjusting machine speed and tension as needed for optimal performance.

Detect equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance cutting,reporting any issues to management.

Position and clamp stock on table,conveyers,or rollers to ensure precise cutting.

Organize parts for the next production phase,ensuring all necessary paperwork is included.

Visually inspect parts and cuts for defects,ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.

Check and replenish fluids for lubrication systems to keep equipment running smoothly.

Keep the work area clean,organized,and free of safety hazards.

Safely move and handle large,heavy metal sheets,plates,and parts using appropriate equipment and techniques.

Use calipers,squares,rulers,and other measuring devices to maintain specifications and tolerances.

Work to meet or exceed established production rates.

*Qualifications *

Demonstrates a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Capable of performing basic mathematical calculations relevant to the role.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Excels in managing time and staying organized to meet deadlines and production goals.

Capable of guiding others in following company expectations,protocols,and procedures.

Maintains a professional attitude in all interactions and tasks.

Demonstrates basic mechanical skills,such as accurately reading a tape measure.

Possesses foundational knowledge in reading and interpreting blueprints.

Able to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required by the role.

*Pay *

$15.00 - $17.00 Per Hour

*Schedule *

Day Shift | 7:00am 3:30pm | Monday Friday
