Fast Food and Counter Workers: Jiten Hotel Management, Inc. dba Julia Hotel located in Hyannis, MA on Cape Cod in Barnstable County: Temporary, Full-time, 04/01/2025-11/01/2025, At least 35 hours p/week, 5-6 days per week, days and shifts may vary. Some days may require split shifts; 6am-11am, and/or 4pm-10pm. (6) Openings. Will train to perform duties such as prepare cold foods, slice meats, wash, chop and peel fruits and vegetables, prepare salads, cold sandwiches, condiments, and dressings. Take orders and serve food and beverages at a counter and take payments. Count bank at the beginning and end of shift, complete designated reports and resolve discrepancies. Clean and maintain sanitation of kitchen and equipment. Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Restock food supplies, utensils and condiments and sanitize counter surfaces. \$16.47 p/hour or \$24.71 p/hour for overtime as it may be available. No education or prior work experience is required. On the job training is provided. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$15.88 p/day during travel to a maximum of \$59 p/day with receipts. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employer will use a single work week for computing wages starting Sunday at 12:01 am and ending Saturday at 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid on Thursday (bi-weekly) by company check. H-2B workers will be provided with reimbursement by company check during the first workweek for visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs. All deductions required by law will be deducted bi-weekly. Housing is not provided by employer. No transportation is provided to worksite.
