Purpose of Position: Perform a variety of administrative & clerical duties involved in the administration & delivery of employee benefits to Cape Cod Healthcare Employees. Description Coordinates benefits administrative functions through data entry, copying & computer application use. Communicates proper instructions for Benefit & HR-related tasks to employees & applicants in a clear & professional manner. Maintains primary responsibility for answering the Benefits hotline & Benefits group email. Administers & processes employee reimbursements for various programs, including but not limited to tuition benefits. Administers, processes & coordinates benefit plan enrollments & terminations into HR systems & to benefit vendors. Maintains primary responsibility for filing of all benefits-related paperwork. Maintains a comprehensive understanding of departmental programs & acts as a point of contact to provide program information to employees. Administers HR systems within the department & ensures accuracy. Advises HR staff regarding HR systems & potential policy or procedural changes. Processes key components of HR systems & bears responsibility for activities that directly affect employee benefit data. Participates in departmental projects & offers input for the continuous improvement of HR/Benefit practices. Ensures regulatory agency & internal policy compliance through diligent adherence to HR practices. Works to further professional growth & Benefits knowledge. Exemplifies a high standard of customer service. Maintains the integrity of confidential data, including protected health information. Performs other administrative functions & work-related duties upon request from management. Consistently provides service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers & co-workers in a manner that reflects Cape Cod Healthcare?s commitment to CARES: compassion, accountability, respect, excellence & service. Qualifications Possesses three to five years of relevant experience or educational equivalent (Bachelor\'s degree preferred). Experience with PeopleSoft Benefits Administration is preferred. Follows department policies & procedures. Makes limited decisions based upon existing data, benefit policies & compliance requirements. Ability to use & learn basic & intermediate level systems & to generate reports. Intermediate understanding of terms & concepts relevant to job practices. Intermediate understanding of how job practices impact specific systems within the organization. Interacts with patients & staff regularly in a professional manner. Produces required documentation within the department & may produce other documentation upon request. Schedule Details: 40 Hrs. per week, Mon-Fri, 8a-4p, No Weekends, No Holidays
