Engineering Tech II
Under general supervision, perform assigned tasks to test electronic assemblies to specifications using schematics, process sheets and required standard and/or special purpose test equipment.

Job Summary
Duties involve a broad spectrum of electronic and mechanical calibrations. Requires use of numerous electronic test equipment and mechanical gauging, reading precise measurements of electronic and dimensional data to the closest tolerance exercising a thorough knowledge of and ability to use such a wide variety of precision instruments.
Determine technical accuracy, operation, and proper sequencing of test procedures
Perform failure analysis to component level using schematics and various types of test equipment, document finding and make recommendations for corrective actions.
Tests involves understanding of electronic theory and interpretation of results.
Perform variety of tasks to ensure production quality standards are met.
Construct test set-ups, interfaces to Unit Under Test (UUT), test fixtures, and other test aids.
Perform lower level test duties as necessary.
Make recommendations for procedural changes as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Prior experience in reading and applying information from wiring lists, wiring schematics, process sheets and procedures.
Intermediate to Advanced computer skills; ability to open programs and input data
Understanding of electrical safety.
Ability to learn on the job training skills as it relates to various electronic test equipment.
Comprehensive understanding of electronic theory and ability to interpret results
Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed
Required Experience and Education
H.S. Diploma or GED
BS EE graduates.
Prior demonstrated experience working with and troubleshooting electrical components preferred but not required.
