COLSA Corporation is looking for a Range Coordinator to join our UAS program in Huntsville, AL. This role will assist in managing the overall operations and workflows of an unmanned and manned UAS testing site.

Primary duties include:

• Assist Team Lead and Project Manager with management of staff

• Partner with vendor employees, customers and team leads on range and testing scheduling, oversite and daily workflows ; support short notice changes as needed

• Manage various testing teams with UAS full cycle testing process

• Ensure equipment crews are performing at operational readiness

• Communicate with Team Lead on various projects, training requirements, and customer needs

• Identify equipment discrepancies and deficiencies and work with operational staff to obtain proper replacements

• May require travel to various testing sites as needed

• Actively contribute to UAS meetings, qualification standards, and support other business/project needs as required

Required SkillsRequired Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Technical discipline, or related field or equivalent

• Minimum of 7-9 years’ related experience

• Extensive knowledge of all aspects of UAS test range operations, including advanced testing techniques and safety protocols

• Experience with airspace control measures

• U.S. Citizenship required; Active Secret clearance

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Must be willing to travel as needed (approximately 10%)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing creating & writing policies & procedures specific to UAS operations

• Experience designing UAS training

• Experience delivering UAS training
