Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager - Public based in HUNTSVILLE, Alabama. In this role, you will be responsible for handling complex tax returns and overseeing a small team. This position is on-site only and provides an avenue for career growth, potentially taking over the practice in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and filing of complex tax returns for individuals and corporations.

• Handle federal and income tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws.

• Utilize your skills in Corporate Tax Return to ensure all corporate clients' tax affairs are handled effectively.

• Play a key role in managing and leading a team of tax professionals.

• Develop tax strategies and policies that help the client meet their financial goals.

• Provide guidance and support to entry level team members, fostering an environment of learning and growth.

• Manage customer inquiries, providing detailed and accurate responses.

• Monitor customer accounts regularly, taking necessary action when needed.

• Facilitate the transition of the practice in the future, providing continuity and stability for our clients. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of tax management, preferably within a public setting

• Demonstrated expertise in handling complex tax returns is a mandatory requirement

• Proficiency in preparing and filing corporate tax returns is essential

• Expertise in federal tax returns is a key requirement

• Ability to work on individual tax returns is a necessary skill

• Experience in income tax return preparation and filing is expected

• Profound knowledge of complex tax systems and regulations is required
