SAIC Software Tester in HUNTSVILLE, Alabama

Description

SAIC is seeking a Software Tester to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama.

Job Description :

  • Developing, peer reviewing, and executing test plans, and manual/automated test procedures to ensure products satisfy end user requirements and identify defects

  • Coordinating activities and reviews test cases/scripts with software test lead, requirement lead, and software engineers

  • Perform verification activities on work products using defined/developed methods, procedures and criteria

  • Document and communicate test results in internal tools/reports to be delivered to customers

  • Support analysis of test results and resolution of open issues

  • Devise improvements to test procedures

  • Create daily test metrics and reports

Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and zero (0) years or more experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.

Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of developer/automation experience required

  • Experience executing manual and automated test procedures to identify and resolve defects

  • Familiar with developing test plans and test cases

  • Must be comfortable communicating test findings with the SW Test Lead and other SW Engineers.

Clearance :

Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a full Secret clearance; Minimum of an Interim Secret clearance required to start.
