Description/Duties:
Integration Engineer will provide integration support to the NASA Human Landing System (HLS) Program Systems Engineering and Integration Office. The candidate will be assigned to the HLS Requirements and Verification team with a key emphasis on interfacing with the Moon2Mars Program Office. The candidate will be coordinating requirement gaps and Verification/Validation needs between the two programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with implementing the systems engineering "V" model
- Experience writing requirements specifications and developing traceability matrices
- Experience with spacecraft and/or launch vehicle systems/subsystems architectures
- Experience with systems integration and verification activities. -Demonstrated Leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Systems Engineering Processes and activities
- Proficiency in Atlassian Tools (JIRA), Doors Next Generation (DNG), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in NASA or DoD Program offices
- Familiar with NASA's Systems Engineering processes
- Experience implementing systems engineering principles in a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment to develop system-of-systems requirements via system/component trade studies and analysis
- Experience analyzing and documenting system of system behaviors to meet emerging needs using MBSE tools and principles
- Able to provide SEandI expertise in areas such as: Digital engineering ,MBSE, Functional Decomposition and mission model, Concept of operations, Requirements definition and traceability, Verification and Validation, Physical Architecture Integration, Integration and discipline experts, TandV and Integrated design certification
