Canvas, Inc. Security Analyst in Huntsville, Alabama

Job Title:

Security Analyst

Location: Huntsville, AL (Hybrid)

The Security Analyst position is responsible for advising management, senior level engineers, and staff in development of security documents in accordance with (IAW) new and established regulations and guidelines.

Security Analyst will assist the S3i security team in:

  • VAR tracking and management
  • Structural Integrity Checks of Open Storage/MDA CNET areas
  • Weekly walk thru/spot checks in Secure Areas
  • Combo changes of security containers and lab doors Collect End of the Month paperwork for open storage areas
  • Create SF 701s/702s per lab/area
  • Daily checks of 701/702s on any open storage lab that they have been properly checked off by the guard, ensuring non duty hours/holiday have been notated on the sheets
  • Track security container/combo paperwork
  • Keep up with NSA APL, ensure products are up to date/send out necessary updates

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline and a m

inimum 5 years' experience in DoD security requirements.

Security Clearance:Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
