Leidos Dynetics is seeking a talented Quality Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions to complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging the defense, space, cyber, and commercial fields. DTS provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

This position will require the candidate direct all quality aspects of a new program. The candidate should have knowledge of manufacturing practices. These activities will include but no limited to: Assembly operations / controls, testing, Non-conformances, root cause investigation, internal and 3rd party audits. This position will manage the non-conformances, managing the Quality flow downs to suppliers, Inspection instructions. This position will follow up on all internal audit finding to drive the closure of the open issues. This job will audit and ensure all operation steps are being followed per the instructions.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate must have a BS degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience or a Masters degree with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a high school diploma with 8 years of experience will be considered.

• Candidate should have at least 4 years of quality experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 system or equivalent experience in DOD, Aerospace, or Automotive manufacturing quality control.

• Candidate must have experience working with non-conforming material, performing failure analysis, identifying root cause and implementing corrective action.

• Candidate must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a final Secret Security Clearance

• must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville area.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
