Requirements

  • SHRM-CP a plus but not required.

  • 5-8 years of experience in HR is required.

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field. In lieu of a degree, candidates with substantial relevant experience will be considered (8+ YOE).

  • Familiarity with MS Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Ability to learn our HRIS system.

  • An excellent communicator with outstanding people skills.

  • A team player with a result driven approach.

  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to self-manage.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.

  • Great problem-solving skills and basic understanding of HR procedures and policies.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.

  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations related to benefits and leave.

  • Ability to embrace change, learn quickly, and thrive in a dynamic environment.

  • Basic understanding of relevant software, tools, and systems used in the corporate environment. This includes a proficiency in standard software applications, including Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Essential Job Requirements (not all-inclusive)

  • Assist with HRIS administration, including data entry, maintenance, and reporting.

  • Process new employee compensation actions and status changes accurately and timely.

  • Monitor and respond to HR-related emails.

  • Provide HR support to employees and management, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for all parties involved.

  • Assist the HR Manager with special projects and required reporting.

  • Participate in HR meetings and provide statistical reporting as directed.

  • Manage employee records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Support performance management processes, including performance evaluations and goal setting.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various HR projects and initiatives.

  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Conduct employee relations activities, including investigating and resolving workplace conflicts and grievances.

  • Participate in HR audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for employee retention and satisfaction.

  • Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, policies, and procedures.

  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.

  • Assist in the administration of our leave management program, including FMLA, ADA, and other applicable leave policies.

  • Conduct research and analysis on HR trends, best practices, and emerging issues to support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Assist with the planning and coordination of employee onboarding and orientation programs, ensuring a positive and seamless experience for new hires.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of onboarding enhancements and initiatives to improve retention and engagement.

  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by HR leadership.

  • Document, maintain, and communicate core HR processes to stakeholders, managers, and employees.

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs aligned with organizational goals.

  • Oversee HR compliance activities to ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations.

  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR-related inquiries.

  • Lead HR projects and initiatives and conduct periodic audits for data accuracy and compliance.

  • Mentor junior HR team members and collaborate with People Operations leadership to align strategies and initiatives.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, providing assistance and resolving issues.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 annually.
