Responsibilities:
Cost Calculation and Analysis:
Calculate daily laydown costs for paving and milling crews.
Monitor project expenditures to ensure they align with budgetary constraints.
Provide detailed cost reports to management.
Project Coordination:
Assist in managing the load board and scheduling tasks.
Coordinate activities with subcontractors, including striping, rumble strips, and other related work.
Ensure that all subcontractor activities are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Quantity Tracking:
Accurately track quantities of materials used on projects.
Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used.
Prepare quantity summaries for project reporting.
Support for Estimators:
Assist estimators with preparing and processing change orders.
Provide accurate data and support for project estimations.
Ensure all change orders are documented and communicated effectively.
