Here at the Mick George Group we are looking for Asbestos Supervisors
Job Overview:
To support the business in achieving its aims and objectives through the delivery of asbestos management and removal projects
Responsibilities:
Organise asbestos removal works to ensure that it is undertaken in compliance with relevant Legislation/Regulations, MGE Policies and Standard Operating Procedures and to the required health and safety standards
Ensure that all site labour, plant and materials are on site and utilised to ensure safe working practices
Ensure full understanding of Method Statement and Risk Assessment prior to works commencing and ensure all controls are in place and risks communicated to all Operatives
Ensure all first aid and welfare facilities are maintained on site
Manage all site works in liaison with Contract Manager, site staff and Client to ensure all works proceed to programme and budget and to Clients satisfaction
Complete all required site checks, record on appropriate forms and submit to Contract Manager/Office Manager/Plant Department as required
Undertake monthly mask checks for all Operatives on site
Undertake TNA analysis on Operatives on a project by project basis
Attend 6 weekly Supervisor meetings
Participate in wider objectives of the company
Qualifications/Experience:
Demonstrable successful experience of working in a similar role (Qualified Licenced Asbestos Supervisor)
Committed to providing first rate customer service
Knowledge of relevant legislation including Health and Safety
IT Literate – Use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook and the use of remote meeting tools e.g. Skype
Effective communicator, influencer & relationship builder.
The written communication skills to complete all site paperwork to a high standard
Honest & reliable
Ability to prioritise work and manage own diary – amidst challenging demands on time
Ability to balance operational needs with best practice
Full Driving Licence with towing ability
