Here are  The Mick George Group  we are looking for  Class 2 Sweeper Drivers

A Fantastic opportunity to join our existing team of Road Sweeper Operatives. Successful applicant must hold a Category C driving license, Digital Tachograph card & Drivers Qualification card.

Responsibilities

  • Road Sweeper operatives are responsible for maintaining a satisfactory standard of cleanliness to roadways on Internal & Customer premises.

  • Be fully aware of the rules of the road and the regulations specified in the Highway Code & always abide by them & the Road Traffic Act 1988.

  • Have sound knowledge of Road Transport Working Time Directive & Drivers Hours Regulations & abide by them.

  • Complete & record comprehensive pre-use & end of shift defect checks.

  • Adhere to site specific rules at all times, following rules signposted & given to you on respective site inductions.

  • Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness-both interior & exterior.

  • Contribute in your fullest capacity to the company delivering a best-in-class customer service to all our customers, including maintaining a good relationship with customers at all times.

  • Undertake any other duties that are if a a reasonable request.

  • Demonstrate a safe, economic & defensive driving style at all times.

  • Category C driving license, Digital Tachograph card & Drivers Qualification card.

  • Previous experience of operating Road Sweepers (desirable but not essential)

  • Knowledge of mechanical workings of Sweeper gear (desirable but not essential)

  • Demonstrate a high standard of geographical knowledge.

    Benefits

  • On target earnings circa £40,000 per annum plus performance related bonuses.
