Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Accounting & Consolidations Manager in the manufacturing industry based in Huntersville, North Carolina, United States. As a Corporate Accounting & Consolidations Manager, you will be tasked with overseeing and managing the consolidation of monthly end results, drafting financial statements, and ensuring the adoption of new accounting standards amongst other responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the consolidation of month-end results, including loading trial balances and managing elimination entries.
• Ensure the closing of periods and subsystems in D365.
• Draft and review technical accounting memos.
• Take the lead in the adoption of new accounting standards.
• Responsible for drafting and finalizing financial statements.
• Oversee ASC 842 Accounting (Ownership of Lease Query).
• Act as a Prophix Subject Matter Expert.
• Prepare cash flow statements and management financial statements.
• Manage equity roll forwards, consolidated capex reporting, and consolidated fixed asset roll forwards.
• Maintain D365 and Prophix reporting for accounting, establish and maintain change management controls.
• Manage one-time reporting and verification of support.
• Oversee transfer pricing, US audit management, Intercompany Management, and chart of account management.
• Ensure close communication with the finance leadership regarding the status of book closures.
Requirements • Proficiency in auditing, with a strong ability to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Expertise in using Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to manage and streamline financial tasks.
• Comprehensive understanding of consolidated balance sheet preparation and analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements.
• Familiarity with consolidation processes, including reconciliations and intercompany eliminations.
• Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles, standards, and practices.
