Job Summary

This position provides support in preparing and executing all legal matters, including but not limited to corporate transactions, contract preparation, and leases, as well as working with external counsel. This position also is responsible for the management, maintenance and organization of all legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • Understand basic legal concepts, terminology and procedures.

  • Experience drafting, reviewing contracts, leases and other legal documents

  • Experience with legal document management, administrative practices and record keeping

  • Strong organizational and research skills with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities and tasks, while meeting tight deadlines

    Responsible to:

  • Update and maintain PCF’s legal/proprietary document file system to ensure efficient, reliable storage and retrieval of business and legal documents

  • Manage, organize and maintain official business and legal files, contracts and documents, this includes legal claims management.

  • Evaluate, redline, and develop legal documents, such as contracts, leases, agreements, and other legal documents, ensuring compliance with policies/procedures

  • Facilitate legal research, draft documents, and prepare correspondence.

  • Partner with stakeholders to advise and develop contractual/agreement solutions and/or fulfil requests for information to minimize risk

  • Assist in preparation for depositions, litigation and/or administrative proceedings.

  • Coordinate and follow-through with external counsel, clients, vendors and other stakeholders for the preparation, execution and distribution of documents, contracts, leases and agreements.

  • Manage and administer all litigation hold directives for the Company

  • Serve as the resource for compliance with company policies and practices, conducting periodic review and performing audits when requested

  • Provide general administrative support to PCF’s Chief Legal Counsel

  • Participate in meetings, take notes, and prepare summaries as needed

  • Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may affect the Company

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information

Qualifications

  • Three to Five years’ experience working with and supporting legal affairs

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in legal studies; paralegal certification a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • This may be a hybrid or virtual position, dependent on selected candidate’s location.
