Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a degreed Electrical Engineer with 5-8 years of experience in the field of MEP. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing electrical components for a variety of buildings, including local, state, and federal government facilities, as well as healthcare, higher education, senior living, and multi-family housing projects. The candidate should have a strong understanding of Revit, with AutoCAD knowledge being a plus. The role requires the ability to work independently, using industry knowledge and professional guidelines to achieve goals and solve diverse problems. Familiarity with the NEC and the ability to make technical recommendations and decisions within project scope are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical components for buildings including government facilities, healthcare, higher education, senior living, and multi-family housing.

• Identify and define scope, techniques, and prices for project proposals.

• Work independently, using knowledge of industry and professional guidelines to accomplish goals and solve problems.

• Make technical recommendations and decisions within project scope.

• Utilize Revit software; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.

Essential Skills

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• 5-8 years of experience in MEP.

• Proficiency in Revit is a must.

• Familiarity with the NEC.

• Ability to work independently and solve problems of diverse scope.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.

• EIT or PE certification preferred.

Work Environment

The position offers a hybrid schedule with 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office. The office locations are in Hunt Valley, MD or New Cumberland, PA. The work environment includes holiday meals, cubicle decorating and parties, BBQs, and other social events.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $60.10
