JL Schwieters Accounts Receivable in Hugo, Minnesota

JL Schwieters, a family-owned, Manufacturing/Construction Industry leader for 40+ years located in Hugo, MN is seeking to fill the role of Accounts Receivable. This critical position is open to those with at least 3 years of experience in the same or similar role.

Essential & Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • All Accounts Receivable (AR) Functions – 2+ experience preferred

  • Working on Customer’s websites to collect PO, Work Orders and Misc Information

  • Invoice entries, coding for GL, Sales Tax, Job costing

  • Invoice Processing and uploading or emailing to customers

  • Account collections

  • ODM Deposit (onsite deposits)

  • Cash Receipts entries, balancing GL and AR

  • Organizing electronic AR files and deposits

  • Invoicing for multiple companies/Inner office invoicing

  • AR sale tax monitoring

  • New Customer setup and vendor communications

  • Credit Card Payment Processing

  • Contract Managements

  • Working with our Sales Departments on contracts

  • Keeping up the AR daily invoicing

  • Bank Recs

  • Other duties assigned by Management

    Requirements; Education, Skills & Abilities

    2 year Degree and/or Experience with Accounting/Office Admin of at least three years

    Strong Attention to detail

    Self-Motivated

    Self-Starting

    Problem Solving

    Great Communication Skills, ability to answer phones and direct customers/visitors

    Team Player

    Ability to meet tight deadlines

    Ability to multitask and run multiple projects

    Knowledge in MAS and Agility is a plus

    Great working knowledge of MS Office 365; Excel, Word, Outlook, Gmail, Google Sheets

    Manufacturing/Construction Industry Knowledge, is a plus!

    Monday - Thursday 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM & Friday 7:30 – 3:30 PM

    Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

    Compensation: $55,000-$57,000 DOQ
