Description We are on the lookout for a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to be a part of our team. Situated in Hugo, Minnesota, our team deals with a variety of tasks primarily revolving around accounts payable functions. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, your primary role will be to manage the entire lifecycle of vendor invoices, from setting up new vendors to processing payments and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle all functions related to Accounts Payable (AP)

• Manage the approval of invoices, ensuring price confirmation and accurate data entry with GL coding

• Take responsibility for processing payments

• Conduct regular price comparison among vendors

• Set up new vendors and maintain clear communication with them

• Monitor AP sales tax

• Oversee the process of 1099 year-end processing

• Ensure the proper monitoring of W9 and Insurance

• Reconcile credit card statements on a regular basis

• Organize electronic files consistently

• Balance out with GL accounts

• Perform other duties as assigned by management. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.

• Must have experience with Accounts Payable (AP).

• Capability to handle Check Runs efficiently.

• Familiarity with Coding Invoices is necessary.

• Should have strong Data Entry skills.

• Proficient in Invoice Processing.

• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with Oracle is an added advantage.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is desirable.
