Our client in Hudson, NH is seeking a shipping lead to replace a long-time employee that is relocating. This is a first shift role, Direct Hire for the right candidate. Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee all efforts of shipping.

• Responsible for shipping documentation through visual ERP system including commercial invoices, packing lists.

• Understand and produce shipping labels for FedEx, DHL and UPS

• Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.

• Deals with Freight Forwarders and outside logistics companies to coordinate shipments and documentation.

• Working with freight forwarders, carriers, customers & customs in resolving issues.

• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, purchase orders, or other records.

• Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications & are properly packed.

• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.

• Help promote a safe work environment within the organization.

The essential functions of this role include:
