Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Interprets delivery note and related pick list documentation to identify materials to be picked for shipment.

  • Employs strict attention to detail while picking materials to ensure accurate order fulfillment.

  • Selects and prepares packaging to accommodate each order with minimal waste while ensuring the preservation of contents during shipment.

  • Operates the tools and equipment common to a warehousing/fulfillment center including, pallet jacks, floats/hand trucks, strapping/banding tensioners, box cutters, etc.

  • Employs SAP to scan, pack and ship orders with an awareness to time sensitive delivery requirements.

  • Receives instruction on the proper identification, packaging and labelling of dangerous goods in accordance with IATA regulations.

  • Assists in the performance of physical inventory, cycle counts and receiving inspections as directed.

  • Performs material receipt and stocking of newly received materials as directed.

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of warehouse/order fulfillment center experience is preferred.

  • Familiarity in the basic operation of a computer is required to complete work assignments.

  • Experience in the use of SAP warehouse management module or similar enterprise resource planning system is a plus.

  • Must be able to work from a standing position for up to eight hours per day.

  • Position requires the ability to lift objects of up to 40 lbs in weight independently.

  • The qualified candidate will be punctual, reliable, and eager to learn new skills.

  • Lithium Battery shipping experience

Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
